LA
SALA ROSSA a Sala Rossa č tappezzata di bellissimo lampasso a fondo cremisi, con sovrapporte affrescate a chiaro scuro, ha un soffitto ad affresco. La composizione, e la stessa incorniciatura con putti e riquadri monocromi, si presenta analoga all’ Allegoria Nuziale (ved. Sala Gialla), ma il soggetto non appare molto chiaro per i rifacimenti apportati sulla fine del secolo scorso. Autore č forse lo stesso Gian Battista Crosato.

THE RED ROOM
he Red Room is decorated with beautiful tapestries of “lampas” on a crimson background, and overdoors frescoed in chiaroscuro, also possesses a frescoed ceiling. The composition, with the framework of putti and monochrome paintings, is very similiar to the Nuptional Allegory (see the Yellow Room), but the central subject is not very clear, owing to heavy restoration work carried out at the end of the last century, perhaps the artist was Gian Battista Crosato. |
